Baoshan Jialing River Bridge

At present, the cast-in-place box girder construction of the Caijia approach bridge of the Baoshan Jialing River Bridge project has been completed, marking a phased progress in the construction of the main structure on the Caijia side. The construction of the main pier of the Baoshan Jialing River Bridge on the Caijia side will start soon and is expected to finish in November.

As a significant part of the five east-west expressways in Chongqing, the Baoshan Jialing River Bridge will connect Caijia and Yuelai residential areas and shorten the travel distance between Caijia and Central Park to around ten minutes upon completion. It will effectively improve the current traffic environment, promote cultural exchanges between Beibei District and Liangjiang New Area, and enhance the image and competitiveness of Chongqing.

Chongqing-Wuhan High-speed Railway Widening and Reconstruction Project

The first piece of steel box girder in the second section of the Chongqing-Wuhan High-speed Railway widening and reconstruction project passed the acceptance inspection recently, which marks that the project has achieved phased results in construction progress and technical quality.

Covering Liangjiang New Area and Beibei District, the Chongqing-Wuhan High-speed Railway widening and reconstruction project starts from Jinkai Avenue in the south and ends at the Xiema-Caijia expressway. The Chongqing-Wuhan High-speed Railway will be widened and reconstructed into a two-way eight-lane expressway (including emergency lanes), with a roadbed width of 41.5 meters and a total length of 13.9 kilometers.

Upon completion, the project will effectively relieve the current traffic congestion on the Chongqing-Wuhan High-speed Railway, greatly improve the traffic environment in the northwest downtown area, connect several horizontal channels in downtown Chongqing, and promote the coordinated development of Caijia, Lijia, and Beibei residential areas.

Guangyang Avenue

93% of the Guangyang Avenue construction project has been completed.

The Guangyang Avenue project connects the Guojiatuo Bridge and the Guangyangwan Qianli Cultural and Cultural Complex, intersects with 20 planned roads, and connects with the Donggang Area via Huagang Road, aiming to provide important transportation support for the development of advanced automobile and electronic industrial parks and comprehensive riverside cultural and tourism business in Nan’an District and Chongqing Economic Development Zone.

Renovation Project of Section between Shuangshan Tunnel and Jinjiawan Interchange

The construction of the substructure of the main bridge is under way for the renovation project of the section between the Shuangshan Tunnel and the Jinjiawan Interchange.

Covering a length of 6.3 kilometers, the project of the third vertical expressway starts from Shuangshan Tunnel in Dadukou District and goes southward along Xicheng Avenue before ending at Jinjiawan Interchange.

Upon completion, the project will further improve the structure of the expressway network in downtown Chongqing, alleviate the traffic pressure on the Hongyancun Bridge, meet the needs of the Jiuyong Expressway for converted traffic, and facilitate the travel of the residents along the expressway.
