A 383-kilogram wooden box with 9 specimens of rare African animals got to Chongqing Museum of Natural History from South Africa the other day.

The series of animal specimens including rare wild animals of African like teen lion, sable antelope, red gazelle and zebra are all donated by an American philanthropist to the museum.

It is reported that over 200 more animal specimens will be sent to Chongqing in succession in 2012 to debut in Chongqing Museum of Natural History. (CQNEWS) (Translated by Dai Liu)
