CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Group Co., Ltd. said on February 5, its subsidiary, China Chongqing International Construction Corporation (CICO), won the bid for the No. 15 Gate of Public Engineering Department-Pa'anga Road Rehabilitation Project in Liberia and made a good start in Chongqing enterprises' "Going Abroad" in 2012.

The project, with a contracting amount of 166 million U.S. dollars and road length of 180.36 kilometers, will inject impetus for a number of equipments, goods and labor export, and have profound significance on Chongqing's enhancement of foreign engineering level, and Chongqing's presence of construction service in African market.

The relevant principal from CICO said that the successful implementation of the project ensures further extension of CICO's share in construction market in Liberia as well as helps sell its brand in Africa.
