CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The 2013 Intellectual Property Right (IPR) training class (spring session) of State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) was opened in Chongqing University of Technology on May 6, 2013.

IPR officials from seven countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America will undertake the training for a period of five days.

This training class is a cross-regional IPR training course held by SIPO for developing countries, with the aim to establish an IPR platform for them to learn from each other, share experience and make discussion.

This is the second time for the class to be held in Chongqing. Twenty-one IPR officials from Cambodia, Indonesia, Egypt, Turkey, Nigeria, Thailand and Ethiopia will learn more about such things as the general situation of IPR in Chongqing, judicial protection of IPR in China and talent training of IPR in China.
