CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The Economy and Trade Interchange Meeting between Chongqing and Gauteng of South Africa was held on July 4 and widened the communication on macro-development, aviation, automobiles and traffic between the two cities.

Chongqing Development and Reform Commission and Chongqing Economy and Informationization Commission made a detailed introduction to Gauteng about Chongqing's city lay-out and foreign trade.

Chongqing, widely and deeply focusing on foreign economy, and Gauteng, a well-developed zone of South Africa, enjoy a promising prospect of wider cooperation and wish for more communication and cooperation on city lay-out, aviation, automobiles and traffic.

Nomvula Mokonyane, the Governor of Gauteng, introduced the development situation of Gauteng and was optimistic about the promising cooperation between Chongqing and Gauteng. She was confident to form a good cooperation base with Chongqing.
