CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Spain Gestamp, a world outstanding automobile parts and components manufacturer, completed its new plant in Liangjiang New Area of Chongqing on June 6, 2012.

The plant expected to go into operation in August will mainly manufacture key automobile parts and provide supportive service for brands like Chang'an Ford Mazda, FAW-Volkswagen , etc.

Gestamp is a European enterprise with headquarters located in Spain. It has 110 plants around the world and is mainly engaged in business of automobile parts.

The plant in Chongqing with an investment of 161 million yuan can create 100 jobs after its formal running.
