CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing has formed the wind power industrial cluster of 10 billion yuan, according to Chongqing Development and Reform Commission on July 5, 2013.

With the nationwide construction of large wind power bases, the market of wind power equipment is to be further enlarged. Chongqing’s wind power manufacture industry, represented by Haizhuang Windpower, is therefore expected to realize a significant development.

Through design combination and innovation absorption, Haizhuang Windpower has successfully developed normal-temp and low-temp wind turbine generators of 850kw, 2,000kw and 2,500kw, and is honored as the “National Offshore Wind Power Engineering Technology Research Center”. Haizhuang Group is also supported with the 12 million yuan special fund for strategic emerging industry, allocated by the National Development and Reform Committee and Chongqing Development and Reform Commission.

For the year of 2012, Haizhuang Windpower realized the sales of finished machines 550,000kw, and accumulative sales 2 million kilowatts, ranking the 9th in China. It also achieved the industrial output value 2.2 billion yuan, and sales revenue 1.8 billion yuan. Meanwhile, Chongqing has developed 27 enterprises directly supporting wind power equipment manufacturing, with the output value over 5 billion yuan and the paid taxation 200 million yuan.
