CHONGQING (CQNEWS) – Yuxin'ou (Chonqging-Xinjiang-Europe) International Railway stretches 3,214 kilometers with different land forms from Chongqing to Urumchi in Xinjiang.

From Chongqing to Ankang of Shaanxi Province, it is karst landform along the expressway, the same as Chongqing’s "two wing area".

From Ankang to Maiji Mountains through Qinling Tunel, the terrain is plain.

The expressway goes parallel with Yuxin’ou railway in south Gansu Province. Hills extend along the railway.

The next stop is the famous Hexi Corridor with Gobi desert over 1,000 kilometers.

Hexi Corridor ends at Gansu’s Xinxin . And then Yuxin’ou enters into the Turpan Basin with vast barren hills. Especially along the railway from Turpan to Urumchi, around 200 kilometers, there are all barren and red sandstone hills, the renowned Flaming Mountains in Tianshan Mountains range. Its highest surface temperature is more than 80 degrees.
