CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The Deputy Party Secretary of Urumchi in Xinjiang Province on Aug.7 got an interview by the news group of Media Tour along Yuxin'ou Railway.

Yuxin'ou Railway has played an important role in strengthening the cooperation between middle & west China and European and central Asian countries. Meanwhile, the railway has provided the west region with a basic platform to take part in the global competition, according to the deputy party secretary.

"There are at least 4 advantages for the countries and regions along the railway," the deputy party secretary was quoted. The first is to improve their international standing and market competition; the second is to boost the regional development and opening up; the third is to promote the economic development and boom in Europe and Asia; the fourth is to enhance the regional mutual complements in economy.
