CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Hey, Chongqing Noodles, the first documentary about Chongqing noodles is to kick off in CCTV-9 at 10 p.m. on November 21st, 2013.

Many Chongqing people like to eat noodles for breakfast, eating noodles are a part of their daily lives and have become a closely ingrained part of Chongqing’s culture.

The first highlight of the documentary is why noodles are the most popular food in Chongqing.

The second highlight of the documentary is the relationship between noodles and daily life for Chongqing people. You can learn about stories such as one family depends on a noodle restaurant and successful people open a noodle restaurant for the change of life style.

The documentary, which took half a year to shoot and forms a 48 minute final film, introduces the stories of more than 10 noodle restaurants in Chongqing and details for noodle cooking shared by their owners. (Translated by Li Li, Fathom Language Limited)
