A work of comprehensive materials: Titan’s Dinner

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The Luo Zhongli Scholarship Award Ceremony & Opening Ceremony of Award-winning Works Exhibition was held at the Art Museum of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, located at Huangjueping, on the afternoon of November 18th, 2013. Eighty-seven works from 29 nominees showed, such as an iron box with ever-changing images every 6 seconds and hollow cobblestones. Luo Zhongli Scholarship was awarded to five (groups) young artists: Cai Yuanhe, Yang Hong, Zhang Zhaoying, Li Huan, Dong Lulu/Zhou Wenhua.

Luo Zhongli, the president of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, introduced that 225 college students and graduates graduating this year from 30 universities and art academies of China registered for the scholarship.

The nominee works of this year cover several kinds of painting and categories, such as oil painting, Chinese painting, carving, woodcut, image and comprehensive materials. The works are with diversification, emphasized by Luo Zhongli. The young artists can not only make an application of professional art language and presentation methods systematically and skillfully, but also integrate the non-traditional art style into creation naturally.
