CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Zongshen Industrial Group and Jinshan Science & Technology have entered into the domestic LNG industry and are set to import LNG (liquefied natural gas) from Canada, according to The Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Commission on November 25th, 2013. This will mark the first time LNG will be imported from overseas to Chongqing.

In addition to Zongshen, Civil and Commercial Investment Group, a company established with the lead of Jinshan Science & Technology, is planning to enter the LNG market. The principal of Jinshan Science & Technology said that they will promote cooperation between Civil and Commercial Investment Groups and Canada’s British Columbia in fields such as LNG procurement, mineral resources and financing institutions.
