The 2nd Chongqing Lunar New Year Flower Cultural Festival kicked off at Chongqing Flower World in Banan District on January 18., 2014.

Approximately 300 florists are taking part in this year’s festival. More than 10,000 members of the public visited the flower gala on the first day.

Various kinds of flowers such as azaleas, tulips, moth orchids, lilies, roses and camellias are on display at the festival, with prices ranging from tens of yuan to tens of thousands of yuan.

“There are so many beautiful flowers around me. I love them very much”, said a visitor.
