Chongqing’s service trade and international service outsourcing realised a rapid growth in the first five months of 2014.

During that time, the total contract amount of the international service outsourcing reached 460 million US dollars, with a year-on-year increase of 88%, representing 12% of the total import-export service trade. Its market focused on Asia, North America and South America, in which Hong Kong accounted for 21% and America 17%.

The high-end business, KPO (Knowledge Process Outsourcing), devoted to high-end industrial design and the technological R & D of industrial products, achieved a total amount of 185 million US dollars, constituting 46% of the total, while ITO (Information Technology Outsourcing) and BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) amounted to 97.6 million and 120 million US dollars, accounting for 24% and 30% respectively.
