Liuzhou Bailian Airport will resume flights between Liuzhou and Lijiang starting on July 11.

Flight number JD5709/10 will operate each Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The one-way fare is 1,480 yuan ($237), with an advanced purchase discount of 55 percent, about 810 yuan (airport construction fee and fuel surcharge are not included).

The timetable is as follows:

Lijiang (Departing at 12:15)---Liuzhou (Arriving at 13:45)

Liuzhou (Departing at 14:20)---Lijiang (Arriving at 16:00)

Lijiang has become a popular tourist destination among Liuzhou citizens in recent years. The route from Liuzhou to Lijiang opened in July 2013, but then closed in October 2013. The re-opening will benefit many Liuzhou citizens.

Liuzhou Bailian Airport will reach 10 airlines after the re-opening of the Liuzhou-Lijiang route, and 14 cities become destinations from Liuzhou.
