'From now on – Hualongqiao Young Artists Exhibition 2014'

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Between the 1950s and 1980s, an Artist Village in Hualongqiao, Yuzhong District, Chongqing enjoyed a nationwide reputation. Famous artists in Chongqing and Sichuan like Li Shaoyan, Niu Wen and Lin Jun worked in the village, using the natural scenery as their muse. Nowadays, the village still attracts group of young artists, whose works have recently been on display in the 'From now on – Hualongqiao Young Artists Exhibition 2014' since 10th July at Jiaxiang Anshan Arts Museum.

The museum is open to the public free of charge until 5th August with over 80 works of 15 different artists such as Gu Xi, He Jian, Li Binbin and Li Yi. Exhibits include oil paintings, wood blocks, sculptures, watercolours and integrative materials. (Translated by Chen Siyan, Fathom Language Limited)
