With an increase in passengers during the summer peak transportation season, a branch of the Chongqing General Brigade of Traffic Administrative Law Enforcement recently constructed eight separate passenger boards at various waiting areas around the city in order to better inform the public on taxi prices. The notices contain reference to mileage and to cost for routes from the railway station to Jifangbei, Yangjiaping and other business districts, as well as major hospitals.
