The musical film Love of Lijiang was shot at Lugu Lake, Lijiang Daily reported.

Love of Lijiang, directed by Tong Nian, tells the story about a love chaser and Lijiang's local ethnic groups. Mosuo dances, folk costumes and local cultural activities are featured in the film. Landmark attractions such as Gemu Mountain and Le-Ge Peninsula are also seen in the film.

Love of Lijiang is an episode of the noncommercial musical film series called Enjoying the Music Moive of Beautiful China. The film is expected to premiere in the second half of 2014 on China Central Television's (CCTV) movie channel.

"We hope that the musical film Love of Lijiang will promote the tourism and cultural industry in Lijiang," said Jiang Yong, director of Lijiang's publicity department.
