Chongqing (CQNEWS) On Monday, the Chongqing Administration for Industry and Commerce reported that, by the end of last month, Chongqing had successfully developed over 16,300 small enterprises run by college graduates, accounting for 13.79% of total city based small enterprises and employing over 146,000 people.

"Our company grows with the help of Chongqing’s small enterprise policies.” said Li Li, a postgraduate from Chongqing University. He opened his small enterprise in last June, and mainly specializes in computer and mobile phone software as well as computer network technology development. His enterprise has achieved revenue of 19,000,000 yuan in the first half of the year and is expected to rise to 50,000,000 yuan by year’s end. At present, Yunwei Technology Co.,Ltd employs over 100 staff, mainly fresh graduates and undergraduates, greatly contributing to the employment of college students in the city.

An official of the Chongqing Administration for Industry and Commerce stated that, with graduation fast approaching, college graduates are still at the forefront of government support, encouraging the startup of information technology businesses in particular.
