The exhibition of artworks by Yunnan jade carving masters will open on Aug 9 in the Kunming International Convention and Exhibition Center.

More than 200 artworks such as jadeite jade and Huanglong jade will be exhibited. During the exhibition, voting of the master award will be held to select the creative artworks that can represent Yunnan.

Works by jade carving masters come from more than 60 different cities in Yunnan, including Kunming and Tengchong.

The exhibition aims to build a communication platform for jade carving artisans in Yunnan and to promote the development of Yunnan's jade carving industry. The construction of a commercial platform for master artworks will demonstrate the sales channels for high-end jade carving artworks.
