Chongqing (CQNEWS) On 27th July, the Chongqing Brokers Association released a new plan to establish and enlarge Chongqing’s brokers’ database, with 12,224 people already included on the list. The association further stated that brokers who infringe the laws will be publicised while having their membership cancelled.

According to data, over 100,000 brokers reside in Chongqing and have been broadly categorized into eighteen different sectors including agriculture, property, painting and auto. The president of the association, Huang Tianyuan, stated that in order to regulate the profession, the association has set up a Chongqing brokers’ database on their website. Individuals or relevant departments will now be able to look up the brokers’ credit history on the Internet if they feel it necessary.

Furthermore, the association will upload a variety of other information concerning the city’s brokers, making use of a red and black list to supervise brokerage organizations, rewarding credible individuals while highlighting and dismissing law breakers.
