CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On 24th August, the fifth Yuwang Temple 'Quiet Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition' of the Pianyan Summer Beach Food Festival was held in Pianyan town, Beibei District. After enjoying typical beach food and sitting at tables in the shallow water, visitors can expect a cultural feast.

First started in 2010, the Pianyan Summer Beach Food Festival has been held five times, hosting over 50,000 visitors each year. The festival will last till October, with a series of activities such as food tastings, vegetable and fruit picking and screening beach movies sponsored by the ancient town.
