CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- During the National Day holidays, Xiao Qianbo, a native of Wuxi County, tested the ability of his two homemade aircrafts to take photos around his hometown. On the evening of 18th October, Xiao uploaded a video of 4 minutes and 5 seconds onto the website of Wuxi County, available to watch free of charge.

Xiao, 24 years old this year, is currently in an aerial photography job in Chongqing's main urban area. Xiao became interested in model airplanes during his school life in the College Town (Daxuecheng), and was always interested by the changes that took place in his hometown every time he returned. For the last National Day holiday, Xiao and 3 of his friends drove back home with two self-made aircrafts, one big and one small.

At around 6:00 am on 2nd October, the aircraft set off for the nearby Yunguantai from Tongcheng Town, Wuxi County to take aerial photos, before returning to the wharf of the old town to shoot videos of scenic spots such as the Ningchang Ancient Town, the new town of Wuxi, Jiandao Peak and Lanying Canyon.

According to Xiao, both aircraft were self-assembled and cost him approximately 50,000 and 20,000 yuan respectively, installing a SONY NEX7 camera in each. (Translated by Chen Siyan, Fathom Language Limited)
