When the Russian culture theme day kicked off at the Gansu International Convention and Exhibition Center in Lanzhou city on Oct 17th, it involved different activities to publicize the Russian culture, as a part of the 3rd Jiayuguan International Short Film Festival.

Several Russian short films were played, including Happiness, the Russian life of Irina, and Invitation from Pierre Cardin. The Russian participants also introduced the international film festival in Sevastopol and expressed their hope to maintain a cooperative relationship between the Eurasian TV Association and the Chinese departments.

They also gave a general introduction about two documentaries, which are to be co-produced with the Chinese: Beauty Saves the World and Be Open Minded in the Open World. Additionally, the colorful traditional Russian and Chinese costumes were presented to the audience as a real feast for the eyes.
