Six related departments of the Chongqing Municipal Government issued a document on October 22nd stating that Chongqing will train 6,000-8,000 general practitioners before 2020.

According to the documents, by 2020 there will be two personal health workers for every 1,000 permanent residents, while 2-3 general practitioners will be responsible for 10,000 urban and rural residents. (CQNEWS)
