Zelanian expert Colin Meurk's life in Chongqing, SW China

 Zelanian expert Colin Meurk (1st L) and his Chinese colleagues have lunch in Ecological Process Department of Three Gorges in Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology of Chinese Academy of Sciences in Chongqing, southwest China, Oct. 24, 2014. Colin Meurk is a Zelanian expert working with Ecological Process Department of Three Gorges in Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Experienced in field survey, Colin always comes to Chongqing in dry season to investigate ecological environment of the Three Gorges region since his employment in 2012. Colin hopes to provide the firsthand ecological materials to the local government so as to help the government make decisions conforming to the actual ecological environment. (Xinhua/Liu Chan) |
