CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The 'Paintings of Footprints – Zhao Xiaodong, Wang Niandong, Zeng Yang and Peng Jian Art Show' recently kicked off at the 1898 Nanshan Guild Hall. Over one hundred paper watercolors and Chinese paintings created by the aforesaid artists form Sichuan and Chongqing are on exhibition.

In recent years, the four artists have been travelling all around China. They have been to ancient towns in both Sichuan and Chongqing, plateaus, lakes, folk houses in South Anhui, fishing villages in Beihai and other places. The pieces on exhibition this time are what these artists have seen and experienced in these years. Their works are all about nature and their feelings, which reflects the emotion communication between them and nature.

Peng Jian, one of the four artists, painted a lot of plants growing on Nanshan Mountain, especially the sweet osmanthus. (Translated by Wang Yueyue, Fathom Language Limited)
