Extension project proceeds on schedule

 On October 29th, the first-stage project of the north station house (extension project of Chongqing North Railway Station) was underway in the construction of the exterior façade, while the railway terminal project (supporting project) was proceeding orderly. It is reported that the north station house is expected to be put into use by early 2015, and will be integrated with the south station house. By then, Chongqing-Wanzhou, Chongqing-Lichuan, Chongqing-Huaihua double-track railway, Chengdu-Chongqing CRH and Chengdu-Chongqing passenger railway line & high-speed rail will all dock at the north station house and may receive a throughput of up to 80,000 during rush hour.
