CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- According to the press conference of Chongqing-Hong Kong Musical Exchange 2014 'Collision Chongqing' Concert on October 29th, the 'Collision Chongqing' Concert will be performed in the Changshou District and Chongqing Grand Theatre on October 30th and October 31st respectively.

The concert will be performed jointly by HKCO4U (consisting of young concert performers from Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra) and SIU2 (a Hong Kong cutting-edge band). They were invited by the organizers of the concert - Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Government and Chongqing Liaison Office of Hong Kong SAR Government. The performers will play with various traditional instruments such as the huqin, ruan (a plucked stringed instrument) and piano to present a 'collision' of music, an integration of Chinese and western music both in ancient and modern times.
