On Oct 25, Guangxi Rongshui Miao autonomous county held the grand opening of the 14th Rongshui Miao Reed-pipe Wind Instrument and Horse Fighting Festival. More than 20 horses from different towns and villages in Rongshui county, Liuzhou, Guangxi, participated in the horse fighting competition on the same day and fought fiercely, forming a spectacular scene.

The annual Miao Reed-pipe Wind Instrument and Horse Fighting Festival is a traditional local festival in Rongshui. During the two-day festival, people from different ethnic groups, such as the Miao, Yao and Dong ethnic groups, will gather together to celebrate the festival with a series of activities, such as a horse fighting competition, a folk song performance and a wild food gourmet festival.
