According to Zeng Qingqing, the course teacher, in the first class she will show students a number of DOTA video recordings, and then analyze the tactics and teams. During the second class they will do practical excises. All students in the class, numbering over 100, are boys. The course has become very popular, even attracting students who are no enrolled.

At first many students didn't understand the course’s content, so only a few of them applied. However, after realizing that it can cultivate abilities such as team cooperation and problem solving, even students that don't usually play games enrolled.
