Liuzhou adds air route to Qingdao

According to Liuzhou airport on Nov 4, it will add a new air route – Liuzhou-Zhengzhou-Qingdao, on Nov 15. From then on, Liuzhou will have a total of 11 air routes. It is the first Liuzhou air route directly serving at Zhengzhou and it is also an air-bridge connecting Liuzhou and Qingdao.

With a flight number of MU5379/80, the flight is scheduled for each Monday, Tuesday and Saturday. China Eastern has chosen the Airbus A320 for this route, it having a total of 156 seats (eight seats in first-class and 148 in tourist class). The flight takes off at Qingdao Liuting International Airport at 08:15, and reaches Zhengzhou XinZheng International Airport at 10:00 and Lotus Liuzhou Airport at 12:35. Then it departs Liuzhou at 13:25, arriving in Zhengzhou at 15:35 and Qingdao at 17:55.

After the opening up of the new line, the destination cities of Liuzhou airport add up to 15. These include Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Kunming, Xiamen, Chongqing, Zhuhai, Guiyang, Jieyang (Shantou), Wuhan, Haikou, Zhengzhou and Qingdao.

The full fare of the flight from Liuzhou to Zhengzhou is 1,600 yuan ($261.75) and the present preferential price of a ticket ahead of schedule is 640 yuan, with a 60 percent discount. The full ticket price from Liuzhou to Qingdao is 2,040 yuan and the lowest preferential price booked in advance is just 740 yuan, with a 64 percent discount. The above prices do not contain the airport construction fee and bunker adjustment factor.
