Guangxi Horticultural Exposition starts in Baise

The fifth Guangxi Horticultural Exposition opened in Baise on Oct 29. Hechi Park opened on the same day. Tang Biaowen, a member of the Hechi standing committee and Hechi’s executive vice-mayor, addressed the ceremony.

The total area of the horticultural expo is 60 hectares, and the total investment reached 450 million yuan ($73.48 million). With the theme of “Beautiful Baise, National Customs”, the expo included not only landscape scenery but also folk customs, which integrated elements of relaxation, tourism, sightseeing and exhibition.

Hechi Park is located in the northeast of the garden. It covers an area of 4,680 square meters and attracted 2.3 million yuan in investment. With design inspiration coming from “time”, Hechi Park has created a garden art space aiming to satisfy both people’s material and spiritual lives. It showed its revolutionary culture from multiple dimensions and includes four distinct areas of the entrance exhibition area, revolutionary memory area, landscape area and scenic water area.
