Liuzhou’s Chinese wine culture museum opened to the public on Nov 9 in Liuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

In the 580-square-meter Chinese style building, all the exhibited wines have been provided by the curator, Li Min. He selected more than 500 types of wines to display in the museum out of nearly 1,000 from his collection. Li said that sharing with others is very meaningful. He wanted to let more people understand the history and culture of Chinese wine.

There are four exhibition halls in the museum. The first exhibition shows the historical origin and cultural connotation of Chinese wine. The second hall exhibits the top contemporary 17 wines and provides wine for visitors to taste. The third exhibition hall displays the wine-making process of Chinese wine by live-action models and the fourth hall mainly exhibits famous wines in different places.

The Chinese wine culture museum is open to the public for free. It has become another of Liuzhou’s achievements in constructing folk museums.
