On November 17th, at the laboratory of Chongqing Shanwaishan Science & Technology Co., Ltd., an engineering technician was testing the newly developed hemodialysis equipment.

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The above CRRT equipment can support multi-organ treatment including liver, kidney, heart and lung treatment, reducing safety risks to patients as well as material costs compared to 'combining' treatment with various other devices. According to the Chongqing Intellectual Property Office, Chongqing Shanwaishan Science & Technology Co., Ltd. has already developed China's first set of multi-organ life-support system which is to be introduced to the markets by next June.

It is reported that this equipment incorporates over 50 patents, of which over 10 are considered core patents, with some key technical indicators having already reached the international advanced level. Currently, the system is on trial in Xinqiao Hospital, Third Military Medical University and the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University.
