The Chongqing Transport Commission stated that the Cheng-Yu High-speed Passenger Transport Line between Chengdu and Chongqing will open in 2015.

The 308km passenger transport line has 122.7 kilometers in Chongqing. There are 309 bridges and 38 tunnels across the line with a standard speed of 250 kilometers per hour.

Passengers will spend 50% less time taking the line between Chongqing and Chengdu after the line opens. (CQNEWS)
