The International Trade and Logistics Park in Xi’an city, Shaanxi province, held an opening ceremony for a branch of the city’s Labor Security Supervision Detachment on Jan 9.

The branch will supervise employers and deal with labor dispute cases, based on the Labor Supervision Regulations and other laws. It can also impose administrative penalties for employers that behavior illegally.

Zone director, Yang Mingrui, opened the ceremony by saying that the branch will provide a better environment for social and economic development, and will safeguard the rights and interests of enterprises and employees. He also hoped the detachment could continue to help the Park to pull in more personnel and improve its management mechanism.

Li Ning, head of the detachment, also addressed the ceremony by asking the branch to improve its officials’ professional quality through training sessions and to undertake the administration according to the law.

Also attending the ceremony were another zone director, Li Xiang, and officials from the branch and the detachment.
