CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On January 31st, the 2015 Cross-Strait Lunar New Year Folk Music Concert is set to be staged in Chongqing Guotai Arts Center. It is reported that the lowest ticket price for the show is just 80 yuan.

It is known that this concert is to be performed by Taiwan Hsinchu Youth Civic Orchestra and Chongqing Civic Orchestra together. Taiwan Hsinchu Youth Civic Orchestra has been praised as the 'civic orchestra with the most vigor and strength' in Taiwan, whose members all are elites from famous music academies across Taiwan, with high-level performance skills and rich performance experience. At the Concert, the Orchestra is to dispatch over 20 artists to perform, 16 of which are the chief performers of each part of the Civic Orchestra. In addition, a large batch of outstanding musicians including Wang Danhong, the outstanding domestic composer, and Wang Yi, Head of Chongqing Civic Orchestra and also the winner of the 4th China Quyi Peony Awards are also to join the concert.
