Sophomore boy makes documentary "Chongqing in Progress"

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- They spent seven days photographing, went for over 400km around the main urban districts, got over 12,000 photos, and finally cut them into a three-minute documentary "Chongqing in Progress". Recently, an 18-second trailer for "Chongqing in Progress" becomes popular on Weibo and Youku.
The main producer of the "blockbuster" on the image of Chongqing is 20-year-old Li Wenyi, a sophomore boy majoring in film and television production at Chongqing College of Electronic Engineering. Li said that the original intention of making this documentary is to commemorate the 18th anniversary of Chongqing Municipality.
"Chongqing in Progress" not publicly shown yet has a full length of three minutes and ten seconds. By adopting the time-lapse photography to compress the contents of the seven-day photographing, it shows the panorama of Chongqing's main urban areas in the way of from morning to night.
