CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On the evening of June 30th, Sichuan Opera "Jinzi" starred by Shen Tiemei – the queen of Sichuan Opera was on show at Tianzhijiaozi (Pride) Grand Theatre of Chongqing Sichuan Opera Art Centre. The reason for this is that this is a special performance since the winner of the Award for Best Television Movie of Golden Globe Award - American director Martin Beirut specially came to Chongqing to watch the performance as he wanted to move "Jinzi" onto the screen.

Martin Beirut is a famous American director whose works once won such awards as the Independent Spirit Award and the Award for Best Television Movie of Golden Globe Award.

According to the related person in charge of Chongqing Sichuan Opera Troupe, the reason for its inviting him to direct "Jinzi" is to better show the art features of Sichuan Opera and the unique art of opera tune and performing style in "Jinzi", as well as further improve the international reputation of Sichuan Opera.
