According to the related person in charge of Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Commission, in the first five months of this year, Chongqing's cross-border e-commerce has developed rapidly with 531,000 transactions with an amount of 154 million yuan, up by 50 times on a year-on-year basis. In particular, in May, 170,000 transactions with an amount of 49 million yuan were completed, creating the highest record of Chongqing’s monthly cross-border e-commerce turnover.
