"Peace Pigeon" personalized special stamps

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On July 3rd, the first-issue ceremony of China Post Group Corporation's personalized service special stamps "Peace Pigeon" "in memory of the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression & World Anti-Fascist War" was held on Yangjiaping Pedestrian Street in Jiulongpo District.

It is known that the "Peace Pigeon" personalized service stamps are 10 personalized stamps adopting the "peace pigeon for the 70th anniversary of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression & World Anti-Fascist War" as their main parts respectively attached with a picture reflecting three aspects of content including historic sites of the war, former residences of historic celebrities (memorials), and former sites various organizations during the war. The attached pictures of the version first issued in Chongqing mainly includes such sites as Chongqing Monument for the Victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (Jiefangbei), former site of Eighth Route Army Chongqing Office, site of Chongqing Bombing Massacre, Parachute Tower, and Anti-Japanese Theatre.
