Go to the culture industry expo to see making of Thang-ga
A Tibetan painter from Changdu was spotted carefully painting Thang-ga.
CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- At the Chongqing Culture Industry Expo to be held this September, the public can buy a varieties of precious special products from Tibet without going out of Chongqing, as well as experience the making of Thang-ga on the spot. According to news released on the 16th, Tibet's Changdu will exhibit local special products at the expo.
"Fifteen pieces of Thang-ga works will be exhibited, the largest having a size of about 120cm x90cm, worth 200,000-300,000 yuan," reported a spokesperson of the Changdu Bureau of Culture. Thang-ga works in different sizes generally have a height of 80cm and a width of 60cm, but large ones may have a height of tens of metres, while small ones may have a height of only 10cm.
