2015 Chongqing Culture Industry Expo to be held next month

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The 2015 Chongqing Culture Industry Expo is set to be held from September 10th to 13th at Chongqing International Expo Centre. This year’s event is expected to surpass the total scale of the past three expos, with nearly 800 traders from home and abroad joining the expo, but also including 15 local projects of Chongqing’s eight districts and counties, with an estimated signing amount of over 60 billion yuan.

The expo, themed on "Exchange·Trading·Integration" is divided into eight pavilions with a total area of about 100,000 square metres, of which 50,000 are for the culture industry expo, while the other 50,000 are for the Chongqing International Automobile Trade Fair. Nearly 800 domestic and foreign traders from over 150 industries will share the stage for exchange and project negotiation.

Meanwhile, as the Chongqing Culture Industry Expo has become increasingly influential nationwide, the expo has attracted the participation of traders from 15 provinces and cities such as Sichuan, Tibet, Yunnan, Guizhou, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Anhui, Fuzhou, and Shandong. In addition, 20 districts and counties of Chongqing will launch a centralized exhibition with an area of 1,800 square metres at the expo.

In addition to wonderful exhibitions, rich and colourful cultural activities will also be conducted at the expo.

Cheongsam worth 160,000 yuan, root carving works "Immortal at the River", home furnishings made of paperboards and 9D films are just a part of the exhibits. While watching the wonderful exhibits, activities such as signing and selling of books of famous writers, artwork auctions, foreign and minority folk singing and dancing performances, "one-thousand hikers"'on-the-spot treasure hunting, and an interactive health experience will also be launched at the expo site. Moreover, there will also be on-the-spot trade fairs of various individual creative hand-made products, including hand-made soap, hand-made bags, creative mobile phone shells, and original hand-made puppets available for citizens.
