A staff member of the exhibitor was spotted showing the 3D-printing dialect sculptures.

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Have you ever seen Chongqing dialect sculptures printed via the 3D printing technology? According to news released on September 6th, over 30 micro cultural creative enterprises across Chongqing will take part in the 2015 Chongqing Culture Industry Expo to be opened on September 10th in groups. During this time, citizens not only can enjoy Chongqing dialect sculptures printed via the 3D printing technology, but also can record a personal music video on the spot.

"Chongqing dialect has made a large number of outsiders puzzled due to its awkward-sounding meanings, but actually contains quite a lot of unique native culture in it," said Huang Jiansong, vice chairman of Chongqing Association of Micro Enterprises. In order to enlighten more outsiders about the culture contained in Chongqing dialect, the Chongqing Institute of Urban Landscape Sculptures Co., Ltd – an exhibitor of the expo, has printed dialect words into sculptures by using the 3D printing technology and then drew figures, animals, and patterns on them so that people can understand them at a glance. "For example, a dragonfly is called 'ding ding mao' in Chongqing dialect, so we just printed a sculpture that reads 'ding ding mao' via the 3D printing technology and then drew a pattern of a dragonfly on it, thus making it understandable at a glance."

What is worth mentioning is that Chongqing Tongjing Culture Media Co., Ltd will bring its professional recording devices to the site for citizens to record their own unique music videos on the spot. (Translated by Tang Zhiqiang, Fathom Language Limited)
