On September 9th, in the Bao'an Village School in Wuxi County’s Xiabao Town, Mr. Xiang was spotted playing games with the kids during a break.

Mr. Xiang takes advantage of the leisure time to cut firewood in the mountains.

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- In Xiabao Town's Bao'an Village in Chongqing's Wuxi County, there is a village school with rugged mountain passes often sealed by heavy snow in the winter. As the only teacher in the school, 50-year-old Xiang Lingju has been working at his post for eight years in order to take care of the kids in the mountains.

The school has only one teacher – Mr. Xiang, and two classes with 26 kids. In addition to teaching, Mr. Xiang also takes care of the daily living of the kids. Before six in the morning every day, Mr. Xiang gets up, cuts firewood, cooks dinner, and gives classes, and keeps busy all day.
