CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On September 13th, the 4-day 2015 Chongqing Culture Industry Expo drew to a successful end at Chongqing International Expo Centre. During the expo, nearly 800 domestic and foreign traders from over 150 industries have had one-stage exchange and project negotiations.

According to news from the organizing committee of the expo, the expo not only has exceeded the total of the previous three expos in scale, but also has presented more cultural taste and international style. Up till 17:00 on the 13th, the expo reached a total trading volume of 860 million yuan and attracted 660,000 citizens in total.

In the Culture & Art Exhibition area of the expo, a citizen was spotted viewing a statue of Avalokitesvara through the glass.

Yang Jian, the owner of the exhibit from Chongqing's Liangping, this was his first time to take part in the expo, and he brought 27 pieces of collections. "All these are cultural relics from the Qing Dynasty, among which is the largest statue of Avalokitesvara, worth around 100,000 yuan," said Yang.
