CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The Chongqing Shizhu Folk Song "Pleasant Sunrise" Network Singing Competition has attracted numerous talented singers, culminating in an event with 10,000 singers launched at Yangrenjie (Foreigner Street) on the September 12th, pushing the competition to a climax.

Among the numerous participants, Derby from Ethiopia in East Africa seems to be particularly outstanding.

Derby, who has been in Chongqing for over four years got registered for marriage with Ision who is also from Ethiopia on the Chinese Valentine's Day not long ago. Derby said he loves singing and sang "The Moon Represents My Heart" – a famous Chinese song, when proposing to his wife Ision, and she was quite moved at that time.
