CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Dai Jianfeng, who graduated from the School of Machinery of Chongqing University, was an auto designer. In this May, he quit his job and became a freelance photographer. "It was in 2011 when I was on business in Guizhou that I first met the starry sky," said Dai who has became fascinated with night time photography since then. Last year, he went to Mount Everest to shoot the starry sky for the first time, and his works were selected for the photography competition held by Royal Greenwich Observatory and were even published in the National Geographic Magazine.

In this July, Dai came to Tibet again, planning to photograph the night skies over the entire Himalaya by setting out from Tibet, passing by Nepal and India, and finally reaching Bhutan and Pakistan. (Translated by Tang Zhiqiang, Fathom Language Limited)
