On September 15th, in Chongqing Logistics City, the auto and motorcycle products to be transported to Russia as the first batch of cross-border e-commerce export goods were spotted being cased up for transport.

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On the afternoon of September 15th, the starting ceremony for "Yuxin'ou" cross-border e-commerce export goods was held in Chongqing Logistics City. This is the first batch of cross-border e-commerce export goods in over four years since the running of the "Yuxin'ou" train.

"The batch of goods sealed today will be transported to Russia, all of which are motorcycle and auto parts and vehicles." According to the person in charge of DinoDirect organizing this batch of export goods, in the past most of Chongqing’s motorcycle parts exported to Russia were transported by sea, and now such products are exported via "Yuxin'ou", saving the logistics time by at least one month. "What's more, when the logistics cost is counted as 0.5 USD/ton/km for calculation, it is close to the cost of sea transportation," said the person. From January to August this year, the amount of cross-border e-commerce transactions across the city has reached 311 million yuan, and there is great potential in exporting cross-border e-commerce goods by "Yuxin'ou".

It is reported that the weight of goods exported to Europe via "Yuxin'ou" annually in China is around 300 million tons. (Translated by Tang Zhiqiang, Fathom Language Limited)
